So my encounter is pretty much the same as Sarah’s, but what the hell, I’ll tell it anyway
So I got to London the day before at about 2pm, checked into the hotel & then went for a wander round London. We met Sarah later on in the bar of our hotel & had a drink & a chat. Then next morning alarm went off at 4:45am, did not welcome it warmly, but got up all the same. Got out at 6am to wait for Sarah & her cousin Helen, then once they arrived, we walked to Leicester Square & arrived at like 6:30am, there was a few people there already, but not many so we found a spot opposite the cinema & sat down, ready for the long wait. We met up with a friend of ours Emma & her friend Becky who turned up about 5mins after we did & she sat a few people away from us. We also made friends with a guy called Dragon. It was a long day of waiting & the weather didn’t help either, it wasn’t as hot as Pirates 2, although this time we were in the shade, but it was still boiling & uncomfortable. We got through the day by chatting, making silly vids, taking plenty of pics & making friends with other people. The huge PE poster got put up around 9ish & a couple of hours later the barriers were put up. More people started to turn up, one of them being a very nice guy called Daniel. Also, the women who were by my mam were from JDR, so that was pretty cool, I actually remember 1 of them (Cheryl I think) from the ST prem last year. Some people behind were a bit annoying though, especially this gang of kids. Then a few people thought they would just move straight into all our spots after we’d been there for Christ knows how many hours.
Around 4ish, things started to happen, with people turning up from the press & the media, then the carpet was being put out. Things started to get a lil rowdy in the crowd too, but not overly bad. Cameras started coming down by us so that was pretty cool. After about 6, everyone was getting excited, then finally Johnny came & everyone went nuts. I couldn’t see him to begin with but then he was walking past us on the carpet & I was just in awe, he looked soooo amazing in his black suit & normal glasses not sunglasses so you could see his eyes, *sighs* He went to the pap, then started the interviews. I tried to take some pics, but their not very good coz everytime I tried to take a pic when he was opposite, 1 of his guards would move as soon as I got a good shot, conspiracy I’m telling you!!! Also I was shaking very badly as well, even my mam was like will you stop shaking, you'll never get good pics like that
After he done interviews, he started signing on the opposite side, & carried on all the way down the street in the opposite direction to us. We knew he’d be a while coz there were thousands of people but knew he would come down at some point. In the meantime Marion turned up, although the people behind us thought she was someone from Hollyoaks lol. Jamie Campbell Bower arrived & the people behind thought it was William Moseley lol. Michael Mann turned up too & couple of other people I didn’t recognise. Marion came to us & she signed my pad, she was very nice
None of the others came to us though. All of a sudden Johnny came back, everyone screamed but he was going into the cinema, but told us he would be back. People kept screaming, so Jerry shouted ‘HE’S COMING BACK!!!’ & they went into the cinema & we waited. Lots of people were losing hope & getting very doubtful, especially when cars turned up outside the cinema & Marion got into 1 of them when she came out of the cinema. For about 5seconds I got a little worried, but knew Johnny wouldn’t go back on his word. After waiting about half hour, Johnny came back out & started to sign at the beginning of the line, & that’s when the trouble started. Everyone behind started to push manically, it was very hard to breath amongst them, especially as he was getting nearer & nearer. The guards were going nuts, trying to calm everyone down. At 1 point when he was practically by us, Jerry was like would you stop pushing, there are smaller people here or something like that. He got so mad that he kicked the barrier & jumped up on it, we thought he was gonna leap into the crowd, then another guard got on the barrier too. The pushing was unbelievable, all the guards were shouting for people to move back & to stop pushing. I had started a video by then which is not too bad but as Johnny is in front of me, everyone was pushing me & was shoving all their things over me so I could hardly see. I started to cry coz I was in soooo much pain as I’m sooo little & getting crushed!! Johnny signed my drawing but I don’t think he could really see me coz I was basically covered. I stopped the video coz I thought it was worthless keeping it on & I was just crying more & more coz of being crushed. Then just as I thought Johnny wouldn’t say anything to me, he looked back after signing something & saw I was upset & in pain & you could tell he was really concerned, so he just asked ‘Are you ok?’ :O & I just replied ‘nooo I’ getting squashed’ He asked if I wanted the guards to get me out & as he asked I had held my hand out, the 1 holding my camera, but I sorta moved the camera over so there was space on it & he just held onto my hand!! I said no that I would be ok. I also tried to ask for a hug again, but once again I don't think he understood me, damn my accent!! He asked if I was sure I didn want the guards to get me out & I replied that I was sure, that I would be ok & he just smiled & said ok. He let go of my hand, but checked 1 last time if I was ok & then moved on. To say I was shocked was a big understatement LMAO!!! After Johnny carried on, 1 of the guards then also checked if I wanted him to get me out but I said no I would be fine, they were just soo nice to me!!!! Everything seemed a blur after that, but I do remember Helen screaming at the people behind telling them to stop it that I was getting squashed which I was really greatful for & I remember her asking me if I was crying coz I was hurt or coz I just met Johnny & i was like bothhhhh!!!! She was like Johnny just spoke to you & I was like ‘AHHHHHH I KNOWWWW & HELD MY HAND!!!!!’ lol
He was just soooo nice & concerned about me, I just couldn’t believe it, he was sooooo lovely!!!!!!!
Kinda regret saying know to being helped out of there by the guards now, & everyone keeps telling me that lol but am sooo glad for the encounter I had!! My mam then told me that he signed her book & he saw her Indian tattoo on her arm, rubbed her arm & said nice tattoo!!!! :O I then saw Safia who just sort of appeared
but I knew she was around coz Sarah said she had heard from her. After she left, Sarah said she had to run coz she would miss her train, so her & Helen said goodbye & went, satisfied with their meetings also!!!
I then went to Emma & told her & asked about her meeting which she told me that he signed her drawing & shook her hand twice!! I the saw Sky from Deppography & so we had a lil chat as well!!
I then saw I had a text from a friend & so phoned her & basically screamed down the phone & I was still in tears about my encounter, just then I saw Johnny getting into his car so I screamed happily that I got to see him 1 last time as he waved, & i think my friend went deaf lol. After talking to her, me & my mam went to have food & then later on met up with Emma, Becky & Dragon for a drink & exchanged stories. I had also phoned Gina to see if she was there & if she met him & then she told me her encounter. Then after a long day, we said good bye, & me & mam went back to the hotel to collapse& as we were walking back, we also passed Jerry Springer on the street while I was on the phone, I must have rung about a billion people that night
! To be honest, it was the worst premiere I’ve been to because of the pushing, I’ve never been to anything soo bad & 2 days before I was at an AC/DC concert, & it was much worse that that, but it made up for it after my encounter with Johnny, it just proves how nice & dedicated to his fans he is!!!
I wanna thank my mam once again for going with me & also Sarah, Helen, Emma, Dragon, Daniel, Safia, Becky, Sky, Cheryl & everyone else we met up with & talked to that day, it was really nice meeting you, you were all awesome!!!
& thank you Sarah for catching my lil encounter on video too, I will be forever thanfull!!! *hugs*
