Fans of Johnny Depp shouldn't expect to see him appearing in any Batman films any time soon.
Last year Michael Caine sparked rumors that Depp would be working on Batman 3, Warner Bros. sequel to the popular the Dark Knight.
The rumor was quickly shot down and the topic hushed for over a year.
Now Caine is back, speaking once again about Depp at the Toronto International Film Festival. Caine reportedly gave MTV the official silencing word on the topic:
"Johnny Depp is great in anything, but there is no Johnny Depp in this Batman. They tell me in no uncertain terms."
Although we won't be seeing Depp working alongside Christian Bale any time soon, the actor does have several exciting projects coming out in the next few months. The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus and Alice in Wonderland are just two of the upcoming films that will satisfy any Depp fan's craving. Source | |

| I never envisioned him in a Batman film anyway, so it doesn't bother me too much.  He'd be awesome in it though.
